Gucci’s Latest Sneakers Look Hilariously JUST Like Our Dirty School Shoes!

Before this, most people would agree that high fashion is mostly catered towards a niche market. After all, only fashionistas could really understand (and stylishly rock) all the quirky outfits that designers would envision.

But recently, the fashion industry has been incorporating more humbling trends, even among the luxury labels, making it more accessible and wearable for everyone around the world.

Take for example, Gucci’s latest shoes.

Yes. That’s right… those filth-covered, ‘high fashion’ shoes look hilariously similar to our DIRTY SCHOOL SHOES!

According to Vogue, these dingy sneakers are part of Gucci’s Resort 2018 collection.

Honestly? I can’t even tell the difference between the two. Which is the luxury brand design???

I guess it’s out with new, in with the old! 

The shoes aren’t officially launched yet but are expected to be priced between USD465 to USD1,250 (approx. RM1,985 to RM5,330)! Wah liao, I wouldn’t pay that much lor…

The characteristics between these crazy-expensive shoes and the typical Malaysian school shoes are just so similar that everyone couldn’t stop joking about them. One netizen even commented, “Ni bukan Gucci, ni TAK CUCI.”

Now, we can totally wear our dirty school shoes with pride. If your cikgu marah, just tell them it’s FASHION 😛

Just kidding! Please don’t tell your teacher that or you might get into trouble.

Funniest of all, this is NOT the first time such dirty shoes were deemed high fashion. According to Vogue, Balenciaga released a pair of shoes which also resembled Malaysia’s typical dirty school shoes.

It looks as though the person stepped in a puddle on a rainy day…
